ALL TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY
My interest in photography began when I was in the military, where I got my first 35mm camera. Beside my military education, my photography background included Manatee Community College, Kodak, JPI Imaging Center, and the United States Postal Service.
I have been published in a number of newspapers and magazines, most recently through the United States Postal Service. It was for a photo of the first day issue of the Endangered Species Stamp that went nationwide.
My photo career included being a team photographer for the USFL Tampa Bay Bandits, United Press International (UPI), Daytona 500, 24 Hrs. of Sebring and the Grand Prix races of St. Petersburg and Miami.
In 2005, during one of Florida's worst hurricane seasons, I photographed the power and destruction of these storms. I was published again through the postal service for photos of the aftermath of Hurricane Charley that went through the city of Punta Gorda Florida.
In 2006, I won the best display for the prestigous Manatee Arts Council Photos Show and also had a winning photograph in their competition.
In 2007 and 2008 I traveled to Europe and Mexico a number of times and had the opprotunity to do some photographic work
in those countries.
I have lived in Sarasota for over 30 years and enjoy photographing life in Florida. While all of my photos are for sale, portraits, candids, wedding samples and graphics are not. Enjoy!
